We’ve seen some good trail-cam movies, however this one has us in stitches. Bob Etzweiler captured the second a black bear audibly farts, his bottom aimed proper on the digital camera. The bear then passes out asleep, as if the reduction from passing fuel is simply that good.
The path cam is ready up in Vermont, someplace in a Marlboro forest. Etzweiler identifies this animal as a big male black bear and calls the clip “moderately hilarious.” We agree.
Etzweiler is a wildlife educator and program director with the Vermont Wilderness College. He and the Vermont Fish & Wildlife are utilizing the bear-fart clip to assist educate the general public about co-existing with bears.
In a Fb publish sharing the clip, Vermont Fish & Wildlife stated: “Bears are at their greatest once they’re within the wild. [. . .] Safe your trash and meals sources, preserve chicken feeders away and defend your livestock so we will preserve our bears wild, similar to this one!”
