The Columbia County Sheriff’s Workplace investigated an Oregon house owner on Friday after receiving a tip about potential animal abuse. In line with a transient information launch posted on the Sheriff’s Workplace’s Fb web page, there was concern that the resident was “freezing litters of puppies to feed their pet snakes.”
Although the investigation remains to be ongoing, it seems that was, actually, occurring.
In executing the search warrant, the Sheriff’s Workplace experiences that it “recovered and seized 18 deceased frozen puppies.” The authorities introduced the animals to the Oregon Humane Society to try to find out the puppies’ reason for demise.
There have been a number of pet snakes within the residence, and the Oregon Division of Fish and Wildlife seized one as a part of the investigation, in accordance with the Columbia County Sheriff’s Workplace.
