Now Right here’s a Place You Wouldn’t Count on to Discover a Snake: Disney World

There are a whole lot of locations you do count on to see snakes, and a whole lot of actions which may carry you up shut and private with them. You already know, like mountain climbing and tenting within the wilderness—typical outside stuff. One place you don’t actually count on to see a snake is Disney World.

Buzz Bradley, @DisneyOnParade on X, appears to be having the perfect time on the Walt Disney World Resort. On Sunday, he posted a photograph of a snake apparently hanging out at Epcot, one of many resort’s 4 theme parks.

Disney is de facto good at sustaining that fourth wall—that invisible wall between efficiency and actuality. Generally, although, actual life nonetheless occurs, even if you’re at Disney. On this case, a Florida snake seems to have needed to spend a while on the happiest place on Earth.

Who can actually blame it?

One commentator on Twitter suggests the Disney World snake is a southern black racer, a typical and nonvenomous species native to Florida.

Grownup southern black racers may be as much as 56 inches lengthy. They’re black or blue/black with some white markings close to the top, which, sadly, we will’t see on this image to get a stable identification on it.

Luckily for Epcot guests, if this can be a southern black racer, they’re not aggressive. It’d probably flee when approached.

The place’s the weirdest place you’ve seen a snake?
